Gather these records
[ ] Bank and credit-card statements for every business account and missing month
[ ] Sales invoices and payment-processor reports including refunds and fees
[ ] Supplier bills and receipts with notes for unclear purchases
[ ] Loan statements and records of money introduced or withdrawn by owners
[ ] Payroll summaries and remittance records if you have employees
[ ] Previous financial statements and copies of returns already filed
[ ] A list of missing periods and any notices or deadlines you have received
